Paintings of Atocitera

Description

Paintings of Atocitera is a series of paintings, created by Lurian Grein while she was floating high above Atocites, tied down with rope.
These paintings were the basis on which modern maps of Atocitera were created.
During her career, Lurian visited all of the Grand Atocites and each of them was given paintings created during her time there. The final creation of maps then took numerous decades, considering the painting were all at one place only during Conjunction of grand Atocites.

Creation

Lurian was a Gravity Flow user. She tied herself with rope to the Atocite she was working on and used Gravity to make herself float high up.
From there, she used to watch the scenery, beasts, and monsters hunting each other, the flow of the rivers, and then draw it all.
The paper used for these was made out of skins of some of the largest beasts of Atocitera. Lurian explicitly requested these so she can make the paintings as large as possible. Noone objected after they realized it could be used to make the first map of the Atocitera since the Cataclysm.
More troubling was the creation of paints in sufficient quantity. Made from various flowers, all kinds of blood from monsters, and occasionally even crushed gems.
For the first paintings, Lurian had to get all the things herself, but after that, she quickly started getting sponsors, and even Planners decided to help by commissioning Raiders to bring the necessary materials.
Before she knew it, her passion turned into her magnum opus.

Use

Apart from being a magnificent and sought-after piece of art, the paintings also helped in the creation of the maps that are used to this day.
Planners also occasionally commission a checkup, during which a Gravity Flow user uses the same method as Lurian and confirms the scenery is still the same.
