Lord Obadiah de Stane (a.k.a. Iron Monger)
Member of the Executiva Familia specialising in international affairs.
After graduating from the Columbia University, he got his first job as an aide in the World Security Council. He quickly made himself renowned as an ambitious and rather effective man. Thus, his Pater Familiae has decided he would be better suited as a Socius increasing Familia's influence within the Ton. In 1967 Obadiah was then appointed socius to Familia de Pierce.
Thanks to Alexander de Pierce Stane was introduced to Howard de Stark and what started as loose acquaintance with other Familia's Sociussoon turned into friendship. By the time Anthony de Stark was born, Stane appeared to be indispensable for Howard in both business and social life and was named boy's patrinus.
After the death of Howard and Maria de Starks Stane was asked by bereaved Tony to act as an intermediary between him and the rest of the Society. He was more than happy to oblige.
As Tony de Stark's socius, Stane was presenting de Stark's vision to the Society, and - most importantly to the Curia which then decided whether his ideas were to be proceeded.
