Velinshad
The Kingdom of Velinshad is the promineant power in Ithirion, spanning the majority of the contienent with the exception of its southern expanse of the island south of the Mirror Mountains, and the untamed frozen north west which is held by the Frostwind Clans. The country is governed by an elected parliment with the Royal Family of Athiris acting more as figureheads and diplomatic relationships.

While officially recognized as a Kingdom with its own Monarchy, the Parliament of Velenshad are the ones setting the rules, taxes and various other legislation required for the Kingdom. Based in Athiris, the Government meet regularly to discuss policies. Each major town and city are able to elect a Governor who has a vote in the parliament.
