Athene takes place in a mirror world of our own. The landscape is exactly the same as the world you know, but none of the countries you know exist.   Magic and Technology work hand in hand, creating new, unusual, and rather fantastical things in strange and interesting ways.   The events of Athene take place 10 generations after a great war ravaged the continent where Europe and Western Russia lays today. The Athene's egalitarian bureaucracy has permeated all levels of society. Humans and magical beings- called magikin- live side by side.   How you decide your fate is up to you and your die. What will you work in a world that has no need for adventurers?
