I hope you and our friends are well and travel goes smoothly.
I'm afraid I have both good and bad news. Hrodel has contacted me with information regarding the demon threat we've encountered. She's found some notes regarding an old demon artifact and potential locations in regards to it. I think you understand the threat this could pose if it falls into the wrong hands. As of right now, the information is likely already out and groups are beginning their search. Kai is running interference to give you more time, but time is still of the essence. Luckily, it should be on the way of your trip or at most a small detour. Please see the attached notes and find this fiend-skin cape before anyone of ill-intent gets the opportunity. Don't share this information with anyone you don't trust completely.
On the political side, if the cape is found by who I suspect is after it, it could destabilize the Tiger Nomads and put the Thyren and Geoff Kingdoms (potentially more) at risk. It may even complicate my travels when I try to catch up to Darkshelf . I'm sure you understand my concern.
I am well, but still waiting for the gift to be completed. The New Orlesians are sad that the Heroes have left, but are also somewhat relieved to not have an armed force sitting in the town. I'm very... bored. I'm sorry I couldn't tag along, but I'm sure you -- of all people -- can understand my sense of duty. Take care of our friends; I don't want to rejoin you in Darkshelf only to find out that you or anyone else is dead. Joking aside, please take care of yourselves and each other. Make sure to at enough food, get enough rest, and do what you can to stay clean. I'll rejoin as soon as possible. I'll update you if anything important happens or if I receive any more information of interest.
And everyone else reading over Giorno's shoulder... be safe. Stick together. We're a family of sorts. So long as you watch each other's backs, you'll be fine.
