The Courageous Travelling Caravan Troupe of Concerto Troublemakers

The Courageous Travelling Caravan Troupe of Concerto Troublemakers, or the Travelling Caravan for short, is a travelling group of artists who tour all year long around the Astronasian outback. Whenever they arrive in town they bring joy and excitement with them as the entire place is turned into one giant circus.

Members

Members of the caravan are usually young man of an artistic disposition. Most of them have been inspired by the story of The Caravaneer and have used its hidden guide to meet up with the rest of the travelling caravan. Most of them will leave the travelling caravan again when they feel the desire to either settle down or go their own way, but those sticking around have a chance to be promoted to the rank of Ring Masters. The oldest and most well respected of these ringmasters becomes the Conductor, a rank well respected all over Astrohanasia.

The wagons

The Wagons of the Travelling Caravan are small ramshackle wooden carts decorated with beautiful colours and drawings. Inside of the wooden carts are small living spaces for the artists which are shared by two artists. They live together like roommates, give each other peer-to-peer feedback on their music, and take turns driving the cart.

Propulsion

The wagons of the Travelling Caravan are pulled by a group of Dire Wombats clad with colourful clothes. While these wombats don't travel fast they are capable of walking from nine in the morning to nine in the evening. Halflings are usually the ones who take care of the Wombats because of their natural affinity with each other but other members also make sure the wombats are kept in good shape.

Communication Tools & Systems

The Caravan wagons communicate with each other on the road by waving a series of encoded flags. The wagon on the front, who is driven by the conductor, will sent his message first. Then each wagon after them will raise the same flags so the next wagon can see it and sent it backwards.

Sensors

Some of the wagons have small towers on top of them which function as crow nests. From top of these crow nests the scouts can see for miles around the caravan, noticing any potential threat before it can come too close and endanger them.
