Tyran Agaun'di

The peaceful desert Agaun'di are most well known as healers. Through a mixture of Facet magic and natural herbs, the Agaun'di are frequently sought when someone falls ill. Their remedies have become so well known that people travel for miles to purchase or trade with them. 
The deeply spiritual Agaun'di take only what they need to support their land in trade for their remedies, at times giving them away for free. 
While they are generally a very welcoming people, they are also fierce warriors and more than a few Agaun'di have learned how to wield magic drawn from Mezznian shards. They use violence only as a last resort and have never willingly taken sides in a war. In general, the slow moving lizards would rather keep to themselves, tending their fields and mixing their remedies in peace. 
The most popular of their remedies has been the Pillow of Assured Sleep, made from the shed fur of Æther Kits. Their treatment for Vittattus Venum and æther dust have been considered revolutionary in recent years as well as their general health potions.
If asked for shelter, it will generally be giving, however if anyone attempts to take their land by force, they are known to react with unquestioning force. This was discovered by the Cult of Krio who saw them as easy prey.  Rather than a simple raid, the Kriosians lost three clans and have stayed away from Agaun'di terriroty ever since. 
While the Agaun'di do not have a formal government, they do have an informal Committee of Peers. This group, made up of a sampling of Agaun'di from many walks of life and ages. Great care is given when selecting members for the committee, ensuring that no one group has a stronger voice than another. Those who try to manipulate or intimidate any member of the counsel is considered a great dishonor that is carried for life.
