Siv's Stylus

If you see the stylus or get a chance to rip that wretched shard from his neck, take it. Destroy them. Those are the heart of his power and without them, his delegation will shrivel and die. We will take our homes back, the Caverns will be ours!

Before the Celestial Calamity, the Molo'chorr had no need for written word, in the darkness there was nothing to be seen. The Calamity brought light and introduced them to fire. In time their eyes adjusted and Siv saw fit to give them a written language. 
Through Krio's instruction, Siv created a stylus from one of his own ribs with his blood as its unending supply of ink. The original texts were written on vellum donated by clan members. Each of them were hand written by Siv himself in his own blood. Many of these vellum have been destroyed or lost to time however the most important are housed in a heavily guarded cave in the Abyssal Chambers.  
The stylus has not actually been seen outside of Siv's chambers since he sequestered himself a thousand years ago. Siv still uses it to write his decrees, sending them to his people through hand-selected messengers. 
The Stylus itself measures seven inches in length and is partially curved. The tip was hand sharpened by Siv to his liking and has not been modified since it's creation. While no one but Siv knows their significans, over the years he has engraved a series of marking and runes along the body of the stylus. 
Siv's stylus is unique, however Siv has taught others in the Delegation how to make their own. Words written by a stylus other than Siv's are considered to have less importance than his official decrees regardless of the author.
