Ground Crystal Pen

The pen itself is a marvel in the written communitiy, being first discovered by a Quetzl Sseth'kal named Archivist Rake Calibaster. During an alchemecal accident with the crystals and his Arcane Venom while he recorded the spells and traits of the other Venomous Sorccery.
The wooden piece of the pen fell over with some crystal components and the mana he was wielding spilled with the broken wood and crystal dust.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Ground Crystal Pen is made of any colored jewels open to the Sseth'kal from the Crystalshire Mines. Another to these componets for the pen to be functional is mana or Venom, where the user of the Ground Crystal Pen puts into the pen with the crystals.
Once the Mana or Venom is imbued with the crystals, the imbuing takes only a few seconds, faster with some good subtle shakes of the pen. The pen user can then press the pen's tip to the paper and write. Once the Mana or Venom is gone, the process repeats and repeats until the crystals lose their focal abilities.

Manufacturing process

The making of these pens is fairly common in Sseth'kal wood-workers that didn't want to enter the Gauntlet, or for the older Sseth'kal that have lost their fighting spirit.

Significance

The Ground Crystal pen is in itself pretty significant for any scholar, writer, or scribe as it is the only piece for them to actually accomplish their tasks. That an any other Quetzl Sseth'kal who would like to accomplish their studies needs it.

Raw materials & Components

The pen's materials are simplistic. They are a wooden dowel that is hollowed out to put the ground crystals and Mana or Venom in. A cap at the top of the pen, to seal the ground crystals and Mana or Venom inside so they don't escape. The crystals, around one or two is enough to fill the pen. A wooden cap, for when the user is done using it. A finger-sized slider, also made of wood, that extends and retracts the pen's tip to be able to allow the imbued liquid to write.
