A.U.R.O.R.A Creed

The planet Au'ralay is home to many things. From the breathtaking sights of the Aural Tear to the many docile and beautifully wonder-inducing creatures of the Aurora Spectrum. These many things have influence the Au'ralayan people's lives. With them using some the Spectrum's creatures as a means of transportation, or even having some being born with the ability to control and see Auras. Due to these changes, the Au'ralayan people had to change their laws. How could authorities deal with a thief who turn themself invisible by manipulation of the Spectrum? Or how could the Au'ralayan people protect themselves from the treacherous and malicious Hue Binders, a small elite group of Aurals who have turned the Spectrum's creatures into brutal and bloody beasts?
With Au'ralay in a new age, a counter sect was created to uphold and handle these new situations. The A.U.R.O.R.A Creed is an highly trained group of Aurals that function as Au'ralay's "special case" inquisitors; taking on cases dealing with Hue Binders, creatures of the Aurora Spectrum, and Aural crimes.

Structure

Even though the Creed is still partially new in the current days of Au'ralayan society, the Monarchies have chosen to not enforce their will upon them. This is due to the brotherhood-like nature the Creed has developed. Instead of having a militarized element to their assignment —while there are still aspects of military fashion to them, due to their duty for Au'ralay— they see themselves as more brother/sisters than co-workers and fellow Inquisitors.

While they may see each other as brothers and sisters, they're still is a order that the siblings must follow.

Chief Inquisitor

Known also as "Commissioner Regent," the Chief Inquisitor serves as the leader of the Creed, making the most important decisions for all of its members. But they Regent is not free from duty, no, they also may take on Borealis cases. These are mostly to insure that procedures and precautions are being followed. But there are times when the chief wants to take a case just to take a case.

The Chief is also the only Inquisitor to serve as the public appearance and face of the Creed, while others may be interviewed and give comments on if asked, the Commissioner is the only one to call for mass reporter meetings.

In addition to the Chief Inquisitor's rank and title, they also are given a special broach and half-cape of iridescent black coloring.

Inquisitor

The Inquisitor is a full member of the Creed. More often than not, they will be partaking on a case. More often or not, Inquisitors work in partnership, having a duo to protect each others backs. But there are cases when a Inquisitor group has three maybe even four members, or even the exact opposite.

Once the Acolyte is worthy of becoming a Inquisitor, they are to discard the grey metallic colored schall for another schall colored iridescent purple as well as have a badge with their name to signify that they are apart of the A.U.R.O.R.A Creed.

Acolyte

Acolytes are the interns and soon-to-be-Inquisitors of the Creed. When an Acolyte first arrives at the Creed, they're assigned an Inquisitor as a mentor. From then on, they mentoring will go on until the Inquisitor deems the Acolyte worthy.

When the Acolyte comes to the Creed, they are given a pin showing the person is the Acolyte as well as a grey metallic colored schall.

Culture

The Creed prides itself on the unique gifts it has been given. This, coupled with their superhuman investigative skills and their discipline over the Aural Tear turns the Au'ralayan into a lethal superhuman protector.

These superhuman protectors, when not dealing with crimes or anything of legal importance, are often found socializing with one another. Either for information on a case or to ask them for a cup of tea. The Inquisitors treat each other as a family, often standing up for one another if either gets knocked down or talking each other out of making irresponsible decisions if necessary. The Creed is a brother/sisterhood of superpowered investigators and they, much like everybody else, needs to follow the Aural Laws or suffer the consequences.

you have awesome style in your writing and detail. I love the different descriptions of the colored capes. The thing I wonder is how the A.U.R.O.R.A Creed takes care of the binders. It is a very good article to read.

Let's have fun creating the impossible, building new worlds, and all types of possibilities. Valcin
