The so called 'pleasure town' of Spaldei
Lancram is a coastal city on the planet Spaldei. It is known for being the leisure capital of the planet and is popularly referred to as the 'Pleasure Town' of Spaldei. It attracts one of the largest groups of tourists from all across the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets.
Lancram is the major population centre and capital of the District Council of Lancram. It is a major cultural centre for the entirety of Spaldei.
The outer city districts are home to the second largest collection of the Spaldian Horse, and races are common attractions for the tourists that come to Lancram.
History
Founding
The first mayor of Lancram was Juluis Lancram, for whom the city is now named.1st Galactical War
Like all of Spaldei, Lancram suffered as a result of the Siege of Spaldei. It was one of the very first cities conquered by the 3rd Empire of Jerace. It was under direct military occupation for much of the war, until it was liberated by Federation Army soldiers, in the 17th Army. During the occupation, many among the populace were arrested or killed, for speaking out against the Jeraci Empire, and Jeraci Domestic Intelligence was especially active in the city due to the presence of a large rebel cell group, that constantly attacked, hijacked and destroyed Jeraci convoys.
