Association Retreat Center (ARC)

Welcome to the Association Retreat Center of Osceola Wisconsin. This/Bible Camp has been in operation from 1976 to the current day. It formerly was the Osceola Air Force Station; one of many locations that were a part of the Semi Automatic Ground Environment (SAGE) system. It transmitted radar signals to the SAGE and it thrived from 1951-1975 when the location of the gap filler didn't suit a needed purpose anymore. The grounds are maintained by ARC now and it's still in very good conditions to this day. The paint, bathrooms, and bunkbeds of the barraks haven't changed since the 50s. The many buildings, now repurosed as different churches, stand with newly painted crosses upon them. Only 1/2 of the base has been repurposed so if you walk north, you can see buildings who's insides haven't seen the light of day and further north a small junkyard that is filled with radar detecting equipment stands alone in a massive forest, the original gate of metal fence and barbed wire now replaced with a wide arch. I have been to this location and I admire old buildings and the eeriness of this place. All of this was to have fun playing a game about a not so Christian game at a church camp, it is not meant to belittle, harm, or insult the owners of this establishment.
