Detritus Cult

Detritians are worshippers of Death, Decay, Forbidden Knowledge and Cold. They are typically alienated Roani who seek to embrace the Bleached Hell as the succor of their suffering, desecrating the peaceful dead with malicious rituals and experiments while disrupting the peace and relative tranquility for their dark deities. They are known for lurking in scrapyards, graveyards, sewers, and sites of battles and war- anywhere they can find bodyparts and magical items to contort into twisted unholy creations. They are especially loathed by the Church of the Sacred Flame and the Order of St. Martin, and many Roani revile them as edgy cultists and traitors to their kin and kind. Luani often point to them as evidence of the danger of Roani "invasion" and "moral perversion of civilization", especially when they consort with gnolls and spread their pestilence beyond city walls.
The deities they most frequently worship include (but are not limited to) Gore, Tharizdun, Talona, and Moander. Their followers are often covert and disguised, only congregating en masse to unleash a great scheme or take over a settlement. Whenever the forces of good and order discover them- and even some criminal elements at times- great effort is taken to root them out and expunge their corruption often in Inquisitions by the local clergy and law enforcement.
