Highest Father

While most would think that, of all positions in the world, that of Highest Father of the Anointed Order of Adar would be awarded to the most generous and giving of all of us, history shows that that has unfortunately not always been the case. Most were great men, and most of those have done great things, but there have definitely been some bad apples. Vallus was not one of them, however. I am without a doubt that he didn't have a bad bone in his body. That man, more than any I have ever known, was the embodiment of selflessness. Highest Father Vallus Serrin (391 – 459), was Highest Father from 446 to his death in 459. He is known to elvenkind as "Saviour of the Kin".
Much of his reign was concerned with the Elven Genocide, his involvement in which led to his death on the Darkest Day. Aside from this, he also was instrumental in cleansing corruption that had started to take root in the churches in and around Midlekee, as well as quelling the unrest that had been growing in the Western Run, specifically between the free city of Jirske and the various khanates that call the region their home.
Born in Carcionne in 391, Vallus was the son of nobles, being brought up in the courts of the city, living among and learning how the nobility go about their business.
