Elenthian

The Elenthians appear human in every way with two distinct differences. They can breath underwater and their skin and bones are known to be tougher than the average human, allowing them to swim in the deepest parts of the ocean without being crushed by the immense pressure. The Elenthians discovered a type of fish that was capable of swimming at great speeds within the magnetic fields, which the Elenthians utilized for their armor and clothing, allowing them to swim up to speeds around 35 to 40 mph, even going up to 80 mph for a brief period of time. Many of the Elenthians specialize in singing. Their voices are capable of either greatly encouraging those around them, or striking fear into the hearts of their enemy’s. Elenthians are also highly skilled waterbenders. Capable of manipulating water to their will, the Elenthians use this to develop new fighting techniques, both offensively and defensively, giving them a tactical advantage over their enemies especially when fighting near or on the ocean. An Elenthian of the healer class however, may train more in the art of healing with the water rather than fighting. The most powerful waterbenders, known as Centurions, are known for training in both fighting and healing and are usually signified by their glowing white eyes. These powerful Centurions will typically serve as high ranking officers in the army or as the kings personal bodyguards.
