Ashen Ascendancy

No civilisation lives forever, yet each petty empire that stretches through galaxies creates a journey towards becoming something greater: Leaving a permanent mark on the universe. Humanity's journey has been difficult- stained with near extinction and the genocidal retribution of dozens of races. That created vast post scarcity empires that stretch through galaxies, and the introduction of wars that can turn the starry night sky black. The Terraktec is the largest of the empires, stretching through nearly a dozen galaxies- patrolled by fleets of millions of ships, born out of the bio mechanical 'New flesh' that can shape its own structure out of the will of the crews combined minds. And yet this empire, horrifying in its actions and might, yet kind of those living within; Stand nowhere near the peak of extra-galactic might, as alien civilisations, capable of shattering galaxies, or turning stars into vast swarms of flakes- that consume star systems, lay in between the Ascendancy and the survival and supremacy of mankind.
