Fog Walkers
During astaro-lashtrian wars soldiers ofLashtria, the Land of Death were called Fog Walkers. They always appeared accompanied by fog (Nah), hence their name.
Fog Walkers are suits of elegant gray armour with all openings covered by gray veils. The suits are essentially hollow, but when the structural integrity of armour is damaged, Fog Walkers "bleed out" and die.
The material of the armour and the weapons has long baffled those who encounter it. It is a deep gray metal with a velvety texture. It is cold to touch and seems to absord blood, dirt and water, always remaining perfectly clean. And when a Fog Walker dies, it loses its special qualities, becoming akin to steel of medium to high quality.
Fog Walkers show unerring discipline and organisation despite never communicating between each other. They march in rows, and when a soldier in the front row dies, they are instantly replaced. In the back are usually archers, who fire huge volleys of arrows, and ballistsas. The soldiers are often accompanied by Necromancers - rare, less armoured, kind of Fog Walkers that can command dead, but not taken bodies. Necromancers are more vulnerable than other Fog Walkers, and the size of their army of dead is limited, but they are still powerful and dangerous. They are even able to bring the living ever so close to the brink - and them take away what will to live remains.
Fog Walkers aren't dead people, not exactly - or so it is thought. After the invasion they became almost mythologized. In the Pale Forest (Nia'Trock), however, one can still find their scattered remains and the thick fog that never lifts.
Fog Walkers' ships are called Na'yarosht (Na'yarosh for singular) - Fog Sailing. It is said that these ships sail not on water, but on the very fog they bring, even over land.
Na'kormostum - fog walkers, "fog-walking"
