Vesta crested the small encampment and felt her heart crack even more at what she saw, the soldiers she and her company had been sent to fight they were not well-armed insurgents but kids barely 15 or 16. She searched and eventually found the boy she had hit, her arrow had struck him straight and true and he lay staring up at the sky his mouth open as if saying something, a prayer or a curse Vesta would never know but the sight of the boy's eyes she was sure would haunt her until her time was done

General Physical Condition

Built from a lifetime of fighting Vesta is not overly muscular allowing her more freedom of movement that is necessary when relying on her archery skills. She keeps herself in peak physical condition a habit she retained from her days as a soldier.

Vesta is well trained in both archery and sword fighting but prefers using a bow so she can better watch over her comrades.

Personal history

Born on the fields of war a young girl surrounded by blood and death looks up towards the sky and prays for the world to change Vesta has always been a fighter, born into the life of a soldier and forced from one war to another Vesta quickly learned that the world was not a kind place. Never fighting for herself Vesta grew up following the whims of powerful men kings, and lords sitting atop thrones of blood and bone, seeking only to fulfill their own selfish greed. After many years of war and death, the half-elf woman was able to finally leave the battlefield for the first time following her own whims and wants. Craving change Vesta left the wartorn area hoping to find solace and peace in becoming a simple adventurer. Knowing little about life outside of being a soldier Vesta struggled with being blunt or harsh with others and feels out of place in peaceful places.

Vesta lead many troops in her time as a soldier and every loss of one of her comrades was seen as a failure to Vesta her own inexperience and weakness leading to the deaths of those she was supposed to lead and protect

During a skirmish near a small village, Vesta was forced to kill a young boy that had been forced to fight for the opposing force she has since been haunted by that moment leading her to vow never to kill a child or those too weak to possibly fight or kill Vesta

Born into being a soldier Vesta never got the chance to receive a proper education leaving her rather slow on mental tasks but she is a quick thinker when it comes to fighting almost making her seem like a different person on and off the battlefield
