John Krown is a young explorer and researcher whose latest discovery - about The Disappearance of Jefferson Deerhead is currently being investigated and is waiting to be re-assigned for further exploration or another decision.

Special abilities

He uses his dracoss abilities along with very specific equipment to do his exploring. Those include:

Transformation and flight - He can transform into his dracoss (half-dragon) form or completely into a dragon and fly above areas that seem suspicious/dangerous or impossible to walk on - like the Cloud Labyrinth for example.

Fire breathing - both in his human and in his dracoss form he can breathe fire - to light a firepit for camping, to frighten an animal or to fight an attacker - he can and would use his ability for all of those purposes.

Along with all known species' language he'd learned he can also understand and - in a way - speak to animals. Any animals except butterflies and dolphins

He might or might not use his natural charms as an attractive man to help him in his research. He will never openly admit that. Or deny it.

Employment

After his fifth birthday John started his basic military training preparing him to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Captain or another leading position in the dracoss army. However when he turned 35 (in dracoss years, 15 in human) he claimed his right to choose for himself and said that he wants to know "what's out there" - he wants to explore and discover and learn.

This was followed by extensive language and survival education and him being sent as an assistant to the most active in-continent explorers of the time. Helping around for another 70-ish years got him to finally be sent off on his own to explore outside the continent - with his first mission being to check on the islands past the South border to see if they are inhabited. That's how the South homoconda tribes were discovered. Pleased with his results, his Queen (at the time that was his grandmother) continued sending him off on exploring missions which he did with enthusiasm and over 80% success rate.

In the last seven years (human time) he is also and official Delegate of the Royal family since his mother became the Queen.
