Horned

For many to say that someone has horns put on them would mean that they are the only stupid one not knowing their significant other is cheating on them. However. In the town of Rockdoors you can find Circus Tennebralux and after a show you can see at least one person in the crowd walking out with a big crown with horns on it. This person is referred to as "Horned".

A "Horned" is someone who, during a show, gets chosen by Beastmeister

- the one controlling all wild beings and beasts and training them to perform for the visitors - to get down from their seat to the ring. This person will proceed to do exactly as the Beastmeister says and position themselves so that their head is in a manticore's mouth or under the foot of a Bigfoot or in the line of fire of the fairy archers. Or any other crazy action like that. Should the person go through with the act and stays unharmed during it, the Beastmeister would in the end send them behind the curtains after putting the crown with horns on their head .

A very hard to understand mystery is the significance of the different horns. Three known people have gotten deer antlers, five have been given antelope horns, there is 25 crowned with small and rounded simple horn-crowns and only one person has ever gotten the goat horns crown. A running theory is that the one person with the goat horns is THE most respected of all who were ever "Horned"

A "Horned" person receives a small basket behind the stage with Tennebralux Circus merch and trinkets. These can contain anything the merch boot offers: from keychains with performer miniatures to T-shirts, mugs and even scarves and pillow-cases. There is always the obligatory Beasmeister signed photo along with a photo of whatever the person was asked to do to become "Horned" (for example: a photo of them with their head in the manticore's mouth) and there always will be a small locket with a floating orb in it. The locket comes with a box and a note saying "Come to the Circus should the orb glow red." There is a 0,25% chance one of the baskets given will have a version of Beastmeister's photo card with an address on the back. This is an indirect invite from him to the person to his own home. Up to this moment nobody has gotten that card.

A "Horned" person usually becomes a small celebrity and if they wear the horned crown in public everyone would want to touch them for good luck and /or ask for autographs and selfies together with them.
