The Three Days War

"We're going to war over what? That's got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard!"
The shortest war in the history of Arthos, the Three Days War was fought between the cities of Almoure, in Arthos, and Corvus, in Illini. It was started after Corvus accused Almoure of stealing a trade shipment and attacked. The two cites met at the border and fought for only three days until the shipment actually showed up. Turns out it was just lost.
"Gods, I hate this job."

The Conflict

Prelude

The city of Corvus, in Illini, accused the city of Almoure, in Arthos, of stealing a trade shipment bound for the Capital.

Deployment

Both sides deployed a small unit of soldiers to the border between the two cities. Foot soldiers made up most of the armies, but both sides also had many mounted soldiers. In addition, Corvus also had archers.

The Engagement

The leaders of both parties met at the border with a small gang of soldiers. The leader from Almoure kept insisting they had nothing to do with the missing trade shipment, but the leader from Corvus didn't believe them. An archer from Corvus shot first, tired of all the talking.
