The Illumination is the plane and realm of Azahd, Goddess of Light. The plane is found within the sun that shines brightly over Arrasgoth every day. The plane is under the protection of Azahd at all times and is an extremely difficult place to visit as it burns at extremely high temperatures and is incredibly bright so can blind many. Azahd prefers for her followers to call to her than to bring them here to meet her, should the need arise. 
The Illumination is sheathed in bright, blinding light at all times, shining down on the continent and world below it until night time when her sister, Nalena, Goddess of Twilight takes over. The plane is extremely hot and no mortal can live here or has ever visited. Azahd lives in her primordial form in this plane, dancing across the sunbeams and sending them down.
The plane is one of the many that is inhabited by one of the Arrasgoth Pantheon gods. All of the planes are created out of the primordial essence the first gods were born and created in. It is one of the few planes that cannot sustain mortal life at all.
