Kholanthris

The temples of Kholanthris form the Scaleseer Friary which represents the less militaristic side of the Dragonborns faith. The clergy of Kholanthris worships the one true god of the Dragonsveil, Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon. Only the most devout are accepted into the Scaleseer Friary. Those who follow Bahamut make long journeys to visit the holy grounds, where they pay tribute, sometimes coin, heirlooms, jewellery, food, others go so far as to offer their very children in hopes the friary will accept them as Scaleseers. The Bahamut clerics may not command as much authority of a Scalebearer, but these Scaleseers are received by immense respect and reverance. The smallfolk come to these clerics for life advice, wisdom, guidance and resolve. The actual settlement itself is laid out with a large temple area known as the friary in the center, and the surrounding area is surrounded by miles of farmland due to the corner of the southern realms being the most fertile area south of Oaths Bastion. The harvests from Kholanthris are tended to by the men of the cloth, typically the newer ones, to bolster their humility, hard work and discipline. All food is divided and delivered to the various settlements of the realms, and a portion is held to feed the Friary. The High priest of Kholanthris resides upon the mountain on the outskirts of The farmland, and is an ancient being who guides the Friary in their worship of Bahamut when the seers require it, otherwise he lies in his sanctum in his long meditation.

The center of of Kholanthris, is the monastery of the Scaleseer clerics, warrior priests of Bahamut. At home in Kholanthris, the clerics learn to worship their god, seeking enlightenment from the Platinum Dragon.

Temple of Righteous Tranquility
East of Kholanthris just out of town limits is a long ascent to the Temple of Righteous Tranquility in the Ares Mountains. At the top of the stair lies a massive stone temple with incredibly tall doors, within lies the High Priest of Kholanthris, who guides Bahamuts followers in appeasing the one true god.
