Durengaard
The state of Dwarves, Elves, Halflings and other allied races were on the brink of collapsing during the orcish occupation of the north. The tides of fate were altered when the human colonies sailed from the east and defeated the orcish hordes and subsequently became the dominant empire it is today. Once peace was established, the first humans sought out the perfect place on the land to construct a monument to their grand victory and centre for human civilization. The legendary human warlord Duren, leader of the first men, was showered with gifts by the other races, the Elves gave them knowledge, the Dwarves built their strongholds, conveniently, at the location of Durens choosing. Duren built the capital between the two great lakes Cyric and Galdric and it became a hub for all societies north of Coreinars Grasp. Fast forward 1000 years and the sprawling jewel of Durengaard stretches from shore to shore of the two great lakes, a hotbed of trade, politics, culture, wonder and prideful citizens. The capital lies in central Tel'Evandros, It is the largest city of the Durendal empire, and home of the king's throne, currently occupied by the Secondborn Durendal prince, Hammond Durendal.
Demographics
The royal families, nobility and wealthy aristocrats of Durengaard are secured behind the heavily fortified, heavily patrolled towering walls of Skyhaven. This district, restricted to the noble families and upper class, spirals around and around climbing upwards to the Royal keep on Kings Row. Skyhaven boasts the best shops, the best inns and taverns and The Crowns.
The Lower Class Districts include:
Old Town
• Old town is the oldest district in Durengaard. In the first days of the capital old town was simply referred to as Durengaard, and it wasn’t until the construction of Skyhaven that it began being referred to as Old town. Thusly, this district is comprised of old buildings, many of which are of old dwarven and elven architecture, many old churches and temples stand in Oldtown, even those worshipping the old gods, which is something uncommon for the southern empire.
Shadebarrow
• Shadebarrow is aptly named for being sandwiched between the base of the Crownscrest mountains and Skyhaven, and therefore spends most of the daylight hours in their shadows. The district itself is the housing and training grounds of the Durendal armies.
Fleacorner
• Outside the western walls lies Fleacorner, a District that arised due to overpopulation, in times past the poor and homeless camped outside the western walls, which was at the time just farmland, these tightly packed favela type slums were a health hazard and eyesore for the capital. Over time, it was built into a functioning district, though still inhabited by the poorest citizens of Durengaard.
South Gate
• South gate was built after the constructions of the walls of Durengaard and stretch across the southern wall down to the trees of the Ivywood, South Gate is the most widely used high traffic area in Durengaard
Cyric Harbour
• To the west fringes of Durengaard lies Cyric Harbour, on the shores of lake cyric. As with Port Galdric, Cyric Harbour boasts a decent fisheries economy and supplies a lot of fresh seafood to the capital.
Port Galdric
• On the Eastern edge of Durengaard lies Port Galdric, which make up the entire shoreline of the small bay that hugs the eastern portion of the city. Lake Galdric has a strong fisheries economy. But is also a favoured recreational destination for citizens. During holidays, a extravagant show of fireworks is presented at the bay for all to see.
The Gardens
• The western portions of Durengaard. Beyond the walls is a long stretch of fertile farmland, the farmers are a successful bunch having no issue offloading there harvest being within the city boundaries.

The Crowns manage the empire, with each crown advising the emperor on the state of their given authority, together forming the Crowns Council. The four crowns are:
• Crown of Swords

• Crown of Coins
The Crown of Coins is in charge of the royal treasury, advising the king on financial matters, and is responsible for raising money to meet the empires needs.
• Crown of Cups
The Crown of cups gathers and archives the histories, secrets and lore of Tel'Evandros With Grand libraries whose contents are restricted from the public. The knowledge within the Grand Library are gathered and guarded by the Third Eye, a religious group who worships the knowing mother.
• Crown of Wands
The Crown of Wands is responsible for divine and arcane matters in the nation, once led by The Magistrates, but after the calamity in Mystarus the current king sentenced all arcane practitioners to imprisonment and even death. Now only the divine Magistrates manage the crown of wands. The headquarters of the Arcane magistrates has been commandeered by the Order of the Red Dawn, mage hunters who are trained to do one thing, capture magic users.
