West Desalon
The west and east Desalon districts were at one time united. However, as more and more refugees from the east poured into the city the district was split into two. The newly settled refugees make up the majority of the population of west Desalon. The western district is noticeably poorer than their sister district; the large refugee population has found it difficult to adapt to the city life and those that dwell in it. They have clung heavily to the culture and customs of there Fulu homeland, this has led to many calling west Desalon Little Fulu.
