Lunes
A Lune is the currency of many nations. The term derives from lunar as though all coins are circular denominations are accented by lunar depictions.
There are four denominations
The term lunatic comes both from the lunar cycle and the belief that money makes one go mad with greed (this has not been popularly attributed to its lead content)
There are four denominations
- A Hollow - 1 unit - which shows a plain coin
- A Crest - 2 units - which shows a small crest of a moon
- A Half - 4 units - which shows a half-moon
- A Lune - 12 units - which shows a full-moon
- Copper base with lead accents (x1 base unit)
- Lead base with silver accents (x10 base unit)
- Silver base with a lead accent (x100 base unit)
