The Trakun Kingdom

The Dwarves occupied the Wyvern Mountainrange for as long as anyone can remember during the events of The Final Empire most of them were Reclusive to the extreme and even dissapear from the historybooks entirely. But in the Years that followed the Cataclysm, they startet to pop up here and there and even vied for tominance estward of the Mountains and were soundly beaten by the Kingdom that resided there during said timespan, its name is long lost tho. Then Infighting ensewed in all the Kingdoms of Dwarves but again not much is known about this particular period. Formation But then aproximately 400 years after the Catyclysm a young Duke named Edmund van Baharuth approached a stable Dwarven Kingom to the North of the mountainrange, The kingdom of Trakun. The Duke comissioned a very new and special kind of Armor that could be produced en masse, and through the production and export of the Legion Armor both sides profited. The Legions of Baharuth were introduced into the military Fray as depicted in The Baharuth Empire. And riches of conquest found their way into the Pokets of the Trakun Kingdom, and with time and even sometimes the help of Baharuthan Legions, Trakun either asimmilated or outright conquered the other Dwarven Kingdoms, but apparently through a sugesstion of Edmund himself the Dwarven king Gazel kept the ethnicities and cultures of the other Dwarves intact and formed them into Clans.

Clan hirearchy

Gazel decreed that after his death because he did not have Children of his own the King shall be decided upon by votes of the Clan Heads, and as this was done so the first time around but very soon this became the premire way to choose a new ruler. Furthermore over time The clans gained ever more power in political descisions and they formed a sort of senate to discuss new ideas and Laws. But it is still a kingdom if the ruler so chooses he can overule the Senate on a whim.
