Plot points/Scenes

The world-renown performing troupe the___ have arrived in Salifa and will be performing "A jealous lover and a lost life" A play telling the story of a noble who fell in love with the wife of another noble. He then set about planning the death of his fellow noble so that he can take his wife for himself. The final scene: Will feature a black teifling bard named Valadius(playing the noble Tarian) who will come onto the stage demanding that Noble: Kyemon accept his challenge, a duel for the love of his life. A raven folk named Moonshimmer(Who is the partner of Alexandros) who is playing: Lady Serana the wife of Kyemon. As the duel comes to a close Tarian will plunge his rapier into the chest of Kyemon (played by a half-elf named Alexandros) before pulling it back as Alexandros' body falls limp to the stage and the play ends(A perception check could notice that the blade was real and the death very real.
Valadius will be arrested by the guards for murder the elven playwright will be enraged and will ask that the party perform their own investigation so that he knows what really happened. As the party goes about the investigation they will come across the other performers and eventually the Elven partner of Valadius, Illiora. She will appear to be heartbroken but a proper check will reveal that she is hiding something. If the party decides to look for clues in Valadius' room at the local inn they will find a small leather-bound journal from an individual professing their secret love for Moonshimmer. If the party decided to take this journal to the guards, the guards will consider this evidence against Valadius and will award the party 5GPs each. If they decide to continue their investigation they will find a stagehand that will tell them she saw Illiora writing in that very journal last evening. The players can then take this information to the guards where they can present their case for Valadius innocence. If the party waits until the morning to present this information they will find that Illiora has fled the city. If they go immediately then they will have the chance to apprehend her if they can find her near the south gate of the city
