Aresuul

Aresuul took form eons ago at the whim of The Balance: a tripact of the only existing Gods at the time. The Balance created the Scria, immortal dragons, to roam the world they had created. Divine in their own right, the Scria discovered the natural magic of their blood and contested amongst themselves to determine who would possess it. The four victors stood tall amongst the remaining Scria and sculpted the races from the land. Seeing the creation of mortal beings within their world, The Balance demanded patronage and temples were erected in their honor. As the mortal races of Aresuul toiled the land under careful watch of their Scria lords, other divine creatures came to exist as minor gods.   The twins within The Balance squabbled between each other so harshly that their anger destroyed great cities and ancient empires. The eldest of The Balance forced the twins to end their argument and forbade them from receiving further worship from Aresuul. He destroyed the temples of Balance and the three were forgotten to all but the Scria.   The Natural Order, the triplet dragons that siphoned divinity from the The Balance, took pity upon the ravaged world of Aresuul. They restored life to the material domain through a heavy sacrifice. Even with this act, the triplets never received worship or praise. The triplets preferred to instead remain aloof from the material plane.   With the absence of The Balance, the four victors of the Scria were instated as the governing natural force of the material plane once life had been restored to it. These Guardians were charged with keeping chaos and discord at bay whilst remaining aloof of the petty dealings of mortals.   The material plane was left to its own devices after such divine interventions and it flourished under the careful watch of the Guardians and the Spirit Pantheon, minor celestials that attained divinity in The Balance's absence.
