Infinium

The pursuit of knowledge has enthralled every living creature to ever live. It is craved; yearned for. Advancement cannot be made without it. Thus, an Infinium is a highly coveted tool.
Lord Sivoran, the patron of Wisdom and Strength created tomes of nigh unlimited information. Almost anything a person could ask, could be found within the tome. The tomes themselves are impervious to all forms of damage, and can be easily summoned if lost.The wealth of knowledge these books provided was unlike any other, and thus were seldom awarded to anyone on the material plane. Infiniums embody the phrase: "Knowledge is power".
One such example of a mortal who was bestowed an Infinium was Grandmaster Andor Kighn, the founder of the Order of the Paradigm. Kighn used the Infinium to unlock secrets and abilities in decades, that would have naturally taken millennia to be discovered.
Decades after Kighn's death, the sacred book was lost to an group of mages, who stole the book, hoping to unlock its power. But it was not to be. Lord Sivoran retook the Infinium, but did not return it to the Order. Since then, the Order has not had an Infinium in their possession.
Purpose
To unlock and reveal knowledge to those who have the tome in their possession.
Historical Details
Background
Infiniums were created by Lord Sivoran, as a repository of knowledge. They were highly coveted by those who had a desire for power.
History
Sivoran created these tomes around the same time the Material Plane (and by extension, Aresa) was created by Iriall. From there, Sivoran gifted them to select individuals for varying periods of time, such as Andor Kighn, founder of the Order of the Paradigm.
Legacy
It is often viewed a s a legendary, but ultimately elusive treasure. Thousands have spent lifetimes yearning and searching endlessly for the tome, only to end up empty handed.
