On Beards
All dwarven women can grow beards, not all of them keep them. The ones that do can often be mistaken for men as all dwarves are similarly short and stout. Generally, the more traditional and connected a dwarf is to their underground lineage, the more likely they are to keep a beard. It's rare to find underground dwarven women without beards and similarly it's less common to find dwarven women that have spent a long time in cities with beards unless they're very into tradition and their roots. They may also appear less common in cities as some people would think that dwarven women are actually men.
