Clan Worldbright

Easily one of the oldest dwarven clans, the Worldbright clan are the masters of lore in dwarven society. They manage and expand the various libraries throughout the The United Dwarven Kingdoms. Though dwarves on the whole detest arcane magic, Worldbright still manages to produce a fair number of wizards. Even so, the main strength of the Worldbrights is the amount of knowledge they have amassed.

Clan Worldbright Traits

In addition to the normal traits you get as a dwarf, being from clan Worldbright also grants you these traits.

Ability Score Increase

Your Intelligence score increases by 2.

Amassed Knowledge

Pick one of the following knowledge skills. You are proficient in that skill: Arcana, History, Nature, Religion. In addition, when rolling a skill check using the skill you chose, you may roll one Intuition die, a d4, and add that number to the result.

Runecrafter

The ability to engrave arcane runes onto weapons in order to improve them is a secret technique guarded jealously by the Worldbright clan. After a long rest, you may choose one weapon, along with the following abilities, and engrave a rune onto that weapon. It remains engraved until it is destroyed, or you engrave another weapon. You may choose any one of these engravings each time you finish a long rest.

Innate

You are treated as proficient with this weapon as long as it remains engraved with these runes.

Magic

This weapon is treated as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances (for example, engraving a longsword means that creatures normally resistant to slashing, but not magic, are no longer resistant to this weapon).

Returning

You may call this weapon to your hand as a bonus action. It teleports to you when you do so.
