Arduma

Half a millenium has passed since the Great Uprising and the freeing of humanity from the clutches of Ghyzer and his children, but, though people may have forgotten the horrors of life under Zhegorden rule, the Solam are wary of their former brethren. Something stirs across the Divide, yet strife between the countries seems a more pressing matter to those who swore to protect their people than a distant and long-forgotten past.

In Arduma, six nations have learned to live side-by-side, their circumustnces as any in, and between established countries. It seems, however, that to conflict is part of this existence, even to the Solam and ohers who had castigated it as a fruitless endeavor, one that brings happiness only to those without a higher purpose.

Little is known of the west, not by forgetfulness, but by denouncement. Solam call it Ladhron – the broken land, home to what remained of the Zhegorden. Vehement in his striving, Ghyzer tore the continent asunder to save his people, and to one day return, bringing ruin to those who had treated him the same.
