Aurea Laxin
To undergo Aurea Laxin is to lose the key parts of your identity as an Aurea, you become no longer an Amet or a Bellator, you are simply an Aurea nothing more and nothing less than the remnants of something once great and powerful. You are taunted by the continued enhancement of your abilities but they are nowhere close to the level they once were, slower and weaker than your previous comrades but faster and stronger than the average human. You will never be the same. You were beaten so thoroughly that they stole part of you, no most of you.
Transmission & Vectors
Non-infectious, caused by near death experiences in which one has been stabbed/impaled or otherwise almost killed by an instrument/weapon that maintains contact with the wielder and simultaneously is in contact with the person it is used against (basically just anything that can maintain prolonged contact with both the wielder and the person defending, choking, stabbing, impaling, that kind of thing)

Symptoms
Aurea eye color fades from gold to a natural eye color like blue, brown, green, or grey. Aurean mark (what determines you as Amet or Bellator) fades to white or tan instead of black. Lose half of all enhanced abilities.

Those who enact it and steal the abilities and Loss of emotional range, Aurea Bellators lose their lack of emotion and gain stunted but present emotions, Aurea Amet return from enhanced emotions to basic emotions though they remain more sensitive than most

The only other symptom besides receiving the abilities and looking better is that their eyes take on a new shade/hue of gold or gain flecks of the natural eye color of the person they stole from. So, gold with flecks of brown, gold with flecks of grey, gold with flecks of blue. Also if they were an Amet and stole from a Bellator or vice versa they gain a new mark if they are Amet and steal from Amet their mark changes color to either red or gold.emotions, or lack thereof,
Treatment
Inducing Aurea Laxin in someone else or killing the person who did it to you in the first place are the only cures.
Prognosis
All symptoms are immediate and permanent unless cured by the above methods, the condition is non-fatal and there are no stages. However, symptoms do vary based on how long they stabbed/impaled/choked you for the closer you get to death the more of the power they steal. If they drain you entirely of power you die and they receive none of the power they'd been draining.

History
First recorded case was in the Aurean uprising when the four original brothers split sides to determine whether to conquer Dasdra or not, two said don't and their brothers attempted to kill them via stabbing and chokings and as this was also the first time an Aurea tried to kill another Aurea using one of these methods they were surprised by the glow that enveloped both parties the murderer and the potential victim and stopped just before they killed their brothers and discovered the condition. No major outbreaks.
Cultural Reception
It was deemed as unforgivable and intolerable to do this to your fellow Aurea, murder wasn't frowned upon but forcing weakness and robbing the very existence and identity of another Aurea was seen as cruel and intolerable and unforgivable. Those who have gone through it are seen as lesser but are pitied for their weakness and failure, those who cause it are seen as traitors and villains.
