Government
Anmeth is run by a council appointed by Ælfheah Handfläche. The council makes the necessary laws for running the council and hires the standing guard to enforce those laws. However, all laws must be approved by Ælfheah, who has yet to reject any of their proposals.
Defences
Anmeth has no standing military apart from the eight full time guards. Ælfheah is currently working to build walls for the town, but so far what little walls have been completed are little more than earthen mounds. Still they are better than nothing. In a pinch the town can muster a 250-member militia.
Industry & Trade
Anmeth is primarily an agricultural settlement. There are few craftsmen and artisans within the community, and only one inn. Almost everyone is involved in agriculture to one extent or another. Like most of the Frontier lands kingdoms, the innermost area is farms with herdsmen making up a ring around the farms. Anmeth has yet to distinguish itself in production of anything, although they’re working on it.
Most trade is done up and down the Rozux river. Anmeth produces only agricultural goods and little surplus of that yet. Right now, Ælfheah is doing her best to attract craftsmen to her region to avoid having to import necessities overland at great expense. She is having some little luck, but not near enough. Her biggest success so far is hiring a family of dwarves to a five-year contract to work as smiths in Anmeth.

Infrastructure
So far Anmeth has almost no infrastructure beyond the dirt roads created by traffic. She is negotiating with a clan of dwarves to build cobbled roads and sewers for the burgeoning community, but doesn’t know if she’ll be able to afford it without raising taxes, or going out on the road adventuring again.
Assets
Anmeth doesn’t have much in the way of assets. It’s only public building and (it’s biggest) is the town hall. There is but a single inn and little in the way of shops available. However it is run (indirectly) by a mid-level adventurer which counts for something.
History
Anmeth was originally founded by Ælfheah Handfläche as a home for the dispossessed, particularly the slumdwellers of the large cities. It quickly grew beyond that to become the center of a small but thriving kingdom.
Architecture
The majority of structures in the town are wattle and daub construction built halfway into the ground. A few buildings are built completely above ground and are the few buildings constructed of stone and/or timber. The town hall, and the inn are examples of this. So far only the in and a handful of shops have second floors, most buildings being single story affairs.
Geography
Anmeth is located on a fertile plain along the Rozux river.
Natural Resources
Anmeth is located on the Rozux river and so has plenty of fresh water and fish. The broad plains are fertile and grow crops well and is expected to produce enough surplus in a few years for trade. Two nearby forests make it feasible to import lumber, though so far, most inhabitants are too poor to afford to. A timber home is considered a status symbol amongst the inhabitants.
