The Adventurer's Travel Guide
A Guided Tour of the Known World, by Abelard Sattar
Ah, traveller, welcome! I see that you (like many others) have made the excellent decision to purchase my book. In these pages you will find worlds beyond your imagination, sights you wouldn't believe truly exist. Well I can guarantee you, they do- I've seen them myself. Prepare to embark on a journey that will change the course of your life!
The Known World
From the bellowing peaks of the Matdhü Chain mountains to the deep waters of the Azure Sea, our world is wide filled with beautiful sights and fascinating mysteries. Danger lurks in the shadows and behind bushes, but experience will teach you how to best avoid it.With enough patience (and a fair share of luck), you will find yourself able to explore ancient ruins while nimbly dodging whatever traps lay hidden, or braving the raging chaos of the wild without a sweat.
Danatelian Lands
Home, sweet home. Its name taste like honey, a melody that fills my heart. Hills and fields that stretch beyond the horizon, sunsets that paints the sky a thousand colours as it descends in the blue waters of the sea. Yes, I am quite lucky to call Danatelia my home.
For all its many wonders, I'd have to say Danatelian architecture is among the most marvelous. One has not really seen true beauty until they have gazed at the golden walls of the Sundrop Room.
The food is quite remarkable too- one simply must stop by their renown bazaars to try out delicacies from all over the world.
Principality of Bajou
Set east off the coast of the Danatelian Lands, the @prin has long remained secular, leading rise to many superstitions regarding what lies on that forever misty island. The cold attitude of Baja's does not help dismiss that austere reputation. But they are renown for their wealth, and as such almost anyone is willing to put up with their dismissive attitude to get their share of the pie.Matdhü Chains
My ancestors have allowed me to cross the mountains safely more times than I've deserved. Just making it through one pass is hard enough- try making it through five times! However, this does not make the Matdhü Chains bare of life. Great Dwarven Cities are nestled atop white summits , whilst druidic circles and other small groups roam the valleys below.
Living in the Matdhü Chains is no easy task, and certainly builds character. Just like the mountains they come from, denizens of the Chains are strong at heart and hard to break. Though what lies beyond the mountains, even they do not know.
O.O I thought I was following you, or at least your world and I missed so much! I love the idea of the first person in world primer, this is so well done and the styling is so beautiful <3
