Hive Mind

This type of person can not only interface directly with drones and other non AI androids, but also either inject code in them directly and physically or control through their MI:c (Mental Interface: Cybernetic).   Multiple digital copies of their mind is made, which allows them to assign one copy to each swarm.  This can only be used for a little amount if time before the different copies will not sync up together, and also in this mode the Hivemind/Remote Operator is not as aware of the world around them.  They tend to use the coordination of overwhelming numbers versus just speed or firepower to overwhelm opponents. The specialized M:Ic uses part of the Drone operator's brain in addition to the electronics, allowing a form of bio-locking so they can't be hacked easily.

Career

Qualifications

A certain mental fluidity, and ability to think tangentially. Then the implant itself does not seem to work for everyone, for factors not understood, but is noted if people have high psychic potential MI:C's don't work in general.  They also have be trained to interact with the multiple digital copies of themselves.

Other Benefits

Remote Operators bring the best surveillance abilities to a situation, and add versatility and numbers to have some validity in most situations. They are often overlooked by the raw power of hacker's in a cyber world, those with psionic abilities, or highly augmented Scrappers.

Perception

Purpose

To have human coordination of robot activities, and use them as a top level tool with real time adjustment and coordination.  Unlike Operators who bond with specific devices on a one to one ratio, Hiveminds control multiple swarms of robots at once.

History

They were originally a variant of the Operator, as options for controlling multiple drones/robots simultaneously became a greater need with time.  It was not until the Hivemind software was made that allowed temporary digital copies to be mad, and work together so that it functions properly.  Because the copies of the mind still have to interact with the host (they are not a true A.I.) it is a different technology then what Chem-It uses to make it's board members virtually immortal.
