The Crucible

The Crucible is the most wretched place in all of Arcluminus. It is a land of vile beasts, ravenous barbarians, cannibalistic tribes, and some of the most dangerous communities of sorcerers in the world.
The Crucible is home to The Tournament of Gash, a violent tournament of death held every year where the winner is given the title of Commander of the Walls of Gash, a militaristic and chaotic bastion primarily composed of Ogrenfolk, Or-kin, Kindlekin and Cicadaedra.
The evening skies of The Crucible are tinted with a dark red under the molten flames of Ruin. The hot sands of its deserts rarely have a moment to cool, and water is a popular currency among its people (though some have adapted and require very little water).
This is not a place for the weak of heart, and many unprepared fools have come to The Crucible only to become another skeleton buried under its blowing sands.
