Tegal

Recently discovered, much is yet unknown about the creature dubbed a "Tegal". A tiger - eagle hybrid.    They were first discovered when some rangers roaming the forest at the foot of the hills noticed some large catlike tracks that ended abruptly. They were puzzled and traced the tracks in the other direction and found the remains of a jackalope. Over the next few days they noticed more activity in that area and decided to stake it out. They took notes of their observations with a couple members scouting each morning. Eventually they were rewarded for their efforts as they saw the tegal fly off with its fresh kill. They took notes and sketched it for posterity. They eventually packed up and headed back to town.   They described it to the townsfolk and rumours quickly spread as to it's size and capabilities. Numbers are growing and locals are concerned that they may develop a taste for their herd animals.
