The Age of Conquest ended with several major wars, not only in the Material Plane, with the Kingdom of Aurun fighting its greatest battles against the Kingdom of Sargus and its allied Noraxian Empire, but also throughout the Outer Planes, as the gods themselves fought a vicious battle against each other, tearing down many divine masks and reforming the cosmic order of pantheons.
As the divine realms influence the very fabric of reality, the Mortal reality has changed and the new cosmic order now stands as if it had never been different, as if it had been like this for the last thousands of years.
But some things never change, and even in this new cosmic order, the need for adventurers on the Material Plane is just as great as it has always been, in this and every other reality.
