Silenda has never seen death as something to be afraid of. As such, she is not afraid of killing people either. At a young age, she sought out the Assassins guild, a feat so impressive they took her in.

Investigation

Assassins are often known for their skills in ending a target's life, but the targets must be found first. Silenda is naturally intelligent and perceptive, these talents only enhanced by her training.

Neutrality

An important aspect of assassins are their neutrality. As professional hitmen, they carefully maintain neutrality in all aspects. Since Silenda sought out the assassins from a young age, she never had any close ties to a specific group. Additionally, assassins have a strict lack of moral code. They do not kill for justice, they simply view themselves as a weapon in the hands of another.

History

Pre-Ascension

Silenda has only described her parents as "nice." As an assassin, she has had to eliminate all ties with others.
At a young age, Silenda had heard of the fear and respect that assassins garnered, and how they were so incredibly difficult to find. Taking this as a challenge, Silenda sought them out. Not a week after she began, she had found them in a small dive bar. Close enough to the upper districts, but far enough to not draw suspicion. The leader of the Assassins guild at the time, Caedis Occiden, was impressed by this feat, especially for such a young girl. He was even more impressed when it was revealed she didn't even follow anyone there, instead using deduction.
Her training began and she caught on quickly. Her natural skills were built upon, and she was soon taking out opponents twice her age. In her mid-teens, she had already become one of the top students. However, Caedis refused to promote her until she was older. While she had some qualms about it, she was still given freedom to do jobs as normal, a captain of the guild in everything but title.
As her reputation preceded her, Silenda was hired by a mysterious person to eliminate a weapons dealer. It turned out the weapons dealer was actually Renova Ignae, Patron of Fire. Shockingly, despite him being deified, she was able to hold her own. As the fight reached half an hour, Silenda was granted deified status by the Goddesses. They called it a draw, and they earned mutual respect.

Post-Ascension

Silenda became co-leader with Caedis, and took over when he retired. As a demigod, Silenda is immortal and so could potentially be the leader of the guild permanently. However, she has other business to attend to often, and so an understudy is always in place in case she leaves for long periods of time. Nobody knows where she goes, and nobody dares to find out.
