Renova (known as Renova Ignae pre-ascension) is the demigod Patron of war, fire, rebirth and industry. He is the counterpart of the demigod
Avarai.

Fire
The Ignae family into which Renova was born had always had strong ties with the fire element. When fighting, he uses his strong fire magic to great effect.
War
From a young age, Renova has been involved in war due to his prestigious father, General Pruil Ignae. He earned glory in battle after battle, eventually coming to a peak during the
Battle of Crimson Peaks, where he singlehandedly fought an army until they surrendered.
Rebirth
During the Battle of Crimson Peaks, Renova's beloved mount Morcorn was dying in the volcano
Nabula. Renova used his fire magic to craft scales and wings for his mount to escape, hence creating the
Tauron species.
Industry
Renova seeks to further humanity through initiating wars. He has observed that faster progress has been made during wars than during times of peace. However, his aims are not genocidal. Renova prefers cold wars and arms races to full-scale war.
History
Pre-Ascension
Born to the Ignae family, Renova was pre-disposed to powerful fire magic. His father, Pruil Ignae, was a famous General. He taught Renova to fight, inspiring him to also enlist in the army. He quickly ascended the ranks through merit alone, as his father believed it was dishonorable to be assisted. His unique fighting style with the use of ascs and intense spirit earned him fame among many.
During the War Of Flames, originally known as the War of Magic, Pruil was killed and Renova was promoted to General in his stead. As soon as the command was given, Renova heard the cries of a bull. Those who were present that day claim to have heard nothing. Renova followed the noise to the lone animal, kneeling in the middle of a field, which he named Morcorn.
Astride Morcorn, Renova was able to win that particular battle, but he was pushed back by the overwhelming forces until the
Battle of Crimson Peaks. During that battle, he ascended to demigodhood through
Ortuni for his valor and intensity. With his new strength, Renova singlehandedly fought the opposing army for nearly two weeks until they surrendered.
Post-Ascension
After forcing the war to an end, Renova disappeared from Arcasai. The last sighting of him was on the easternmost edge of Arcasai, heading into the dangerous Arcasinian Ocean.
While other demigods that have committed murder have been cast into the Nine Hells by Fate, Renova appears to have escaped that sentence. Many have speculated as to why and how, but nothing has been confirmed.

Almost always wore his metal armour, even on hot days.
Post-Ascension
Once Renova ascended, the below features changed.
- Hair became streaked with scarlet and orange
- Large curved horns
- Glowing lines like cooled magma across the skin
- Eyes glowing like amber stained glass.
- Nose straightened.
- Clothed in an armorset that is as flexible as leather but tougher than rock.
Personality
From a young age, Renova was quick-witted, practical and a brilliant strategist. In battle he is cool under pressure but is prone to bursts of anger. During his leave from war, he has become more in control of his emotions, allowing for subtler scheming.
