Orb of The End

The Orb of The End is a crystal ball said to contain the end of the universe.

The Myth

It is said that when Peritia Imaginnos gave birth to Reddere, Patron of Destruction, the Goddess Feliss Alea Iuven frowned upon her existence, locking her in a palace within a crystal ball. That crystal ball is then given to the followers of Feliss to be hidden somewhere in Kaeoma. It is said that if one were to discover it, they would be given the blessings of the other two Goddesses.

Historical Basis

The people of Kaeoma don't realise that this myth is actually true, although some details are missing. Reddere was tricked and captured by a man from ネオンしま Neonshima. There, she was chained where while her magic power was strong, there was no more magic to absorb, since Neonshima is distinctly void of magic. She was later transported into the crystal by Feliss' followers, channelling the Goddess' power.

Spread

It is unknown where the myth originally came from. Some believe it was perpetrated by the Chromai (the Goddesses' priestesses) to encourage the people of Kaeoma to seek it and retrieve it for the Goddesses. It is unknown why the Goddesses wish to uncover Reddere. In literature, it is often referenced as the artifact of choice for villains that wish to end the world. Even Astus has made mention of it in passing, which has been latched onto by many of his followers, given his history of hidden truths.
