Avel Blade Records
Written by Welven Arrow, Avel Arrow's grandfather, it is a series of travel and research journals that recorded the data Welven gathered on Imag-Blades, the myths connected to them, and the history behind their existence. The original copy is currently in the ownership of Avel and his family while copies were sent to historians of Rune Academies and several guilds in Arcanum City.
Purpose
The original purpose of the journal was to record Welven's observations and research on the history and existence of Imag-Blades and ensured that his family or people who had the same goal as him could finish what he started once he passed. It also acts as a record and reference for many historians when looking up the said subject.
Document Structure
Clauses
The journals are split into four. One journal titled "Blades" detailed the Imag-Blades and what they were all about. Another titled "History" followed its title along with theories Welven made that connection to them. Third, titled "Locations" was a travel log Welven recorded where the Imag-Blades were placed in Core and other worlds. And the fourth titled "Owners" detailed the known previous owners of them based on the records and ancient scroll he found.
References
Most of the research and travel logs were based on the ancient scrolls, tablets, and myths Welven found during his journey through other worlds. Some of the scripts seemed to be lost as Welven didn't exactly specify what they were and the locations where they were found.
Publication Status
In the present day, the journals were released to the Rune Academies in Potentia and historian guilds on the condition that they must keep private unless someone has permission from the Rune Council to borrow them with the same jurisdictions.
Legal status
Due to its subject matter, the journals must only be seen by authorized personnel such as historian guilds, hired historians and researchers, and other people who were permitted by the Rune Council. It is also not allowed to expose the journals to the public including the other worlds.
Historical Details
Background
According to Welven in the journal's author's note, he was inspired to learn more about the myths of Imag-Blades as he claimed he saw an "invisible" blade wielded by a man who was in Riyoku's party at that time. After accompanying him in one case, he kept in contact with him and started researching the Imag-Blades to not only satisfy his curiosity but also aid him in his later adventures.
