Arcane Earth

A mirror of the real world with the exception of the presence of magic. There are dwarves and halflings living among normal humans. There are monsters that wander the less inhabited areas of the world, trolls and werewolves and unicorns and countless others. There are spells and magical items, and as much danger as there is wonder. But, this magical side of the world is kept secret from the mundane humans, for the safety of the magical world as well as theirs. It is kept hidden by something referred to as the “veil”, a magical barrier the keeps humans that are not born with an innate connection to magic from seeing it. This barrier provides a few problems though, for how can you defend yourself against something you can’t see. This is why there is an organization that are sworn to protect the mundane from the dangers of the magical world. They protect the non-magical humans, and the magical world alike. And they also protect the barrier which separates the two. They are called the KRT. The KRT of course, stands for Knights of the Round Table. The same organization that was founded by the legendary King Arthur.
