The group had found Enna and brought her with them to Solmine. There they split the party and things went wrong.

While Chloe and Aon went through a tree portal to Wadesten to research curses and what would cause a holy symbol to break, Noa and Sonata and their dog, Lil Guy stayed with Enna in Solmine to protect her.   They decided to leave the inn they were staying at to show Enna the tree that Rona used for her portals just in case she would have to get there on her own during an emergency. During their outing and dinner, the mage of Wadesten Castle, Morcant Grummow, had together with four guards and a shield guardian gotten into their room and waited to ambush them.   During the fight that followed, Enna was almost turned into stone, Noa was brought unconscious and Sonata was briefly banished to another plane of existence. Unfortunately Lil Guy was frozen and killed by a Cone of Cold. When Sonata came back from the banishment, Noa was unconscious on the floor and Morcant and Enna were nowhere to be seen.   Noa and Sonata were brought back to Wadesten by another of Rona's Transport via Plants.
