Bottles of the Night
This is played as a low-stakes party game or simply a game designed to get the winners drunk. Most often played in cities in the Inirmol Mountains and invented by the Dhudro, it's also a simple and popular game for children, although without the alcohol aspect and instead played with an empty bottle.
History
Invented by the Dhudro jeweler Brandwen Goldmine, he actually started using the point system to teach his uneducated cousin how to count. His cousin didn't care much for learning until Brandwen turned it into a game, mixing in a bottle of Frosted Hopper to make things more interesting.
Execution
The deck of 52 cards is divided evenly between four players. A bottle of hard liquor is laid down in the middle of the players, in a very spin-the-bottle fashion. Usually a fifth impartial party spins the bottle, so as to not continue to spin with just the right amount of power to land on a player over and over again. Whoever the bottle lands on, must draw a card from their deck and lay it face-up in front of them. Each card is a certain amount of points; the number cards being their exact value, aces are one point, jacks and queens and kings are worth 11, 12, and 13 respectively. After placing their card down, the bottle is spun again. Whenever someone runs out of cards in their deck, the round is over. Whoever has the least amount of points in front of them, wins the round.
Games go at least 4 rounds, sometimes more if the players are up for it. If someone draws one of the two Jokers in the deck, they win the round automatically. Winners of the round get to keep the bottle of hard liquor.
