General Summary

To my surprise, not only were we all accounted for, but Art was with them too. In their haste, they had plucked her away too. Not suffering that indignity and in a potential laps of judgement, she teleported onto the roc instead. And yet they failed to stop us. This, to me at least, spoke greatly of their character. I could tell circumstance put them in this lot, but they were not willing to exert their will in such capacity. Yet their motives were unclear to me. Why be part of the Venatorii expedition, yet refuse to follow their orders? Why join the escapees in their flight? I might have felt trust, had I been alone, or accompanied by Mutt, but I was not alone. They had lied before and I felt they would do so again.
The roc bare carried is to our intended destination. The Magister Coast was lost to us, but we were accompanied by a noble of the Sandan Emirates. And Koptos was relatively close by.
We received a mostly warm welcome and stayed the night at the inn. We spend the next week recovering.
