Sky Wanderer
This is a sentient creature that lives in the Skylands Continent. They call themselves the Zerua.
Wandering the universe in search of the "song of the heart," the perfect song. They send scouts as "star seeds", that grow up on worlds they land on, in search of the song. Also searching for wisdom, and poems wherever they go.

Anatomy
It superficially looks like a manta ray but has 2 insectile arms, and 4 tentacles.
They can be a sentient creatures, symbiotes, submarines, flying ships, spaceships, mechs, or a combination of all of them.
Ecology and Habitats
Most think that they evolved in the Plane of Air, but nothing is known for sure. They prefer the air, but some have dove into the sea and now live there.
Dietary Needs and Habits
No one knows what they eat for sure. Some suppose that they are either filter feeders or absorb energy from the sun.

In their home environment they drift in pods, but while searching for the song, they are usually found in ones or twos.
Domestication
A few have been known to have been captured by unscrupulous scientists, especially the Atlantean Academy of Science, but have never stayed long. Nowhere can keep them, as they can phase, teleport, and plane shift at will.
Facial characteristics
Their faces are very expressive and look similar to stingrays, but instead of flat, they have curved heads. They have large almond-shaped eyes, set wide on their head, a small pert nose, and a small mouth.

They are very intelligent and are considered to be supra-geniuses. They have a larger brain compared to their body than most mammals. they are playful and curious creatures.
