Aquatic Elves

Written by Pookas Kreations

Aquatic Elves were altered by a wild magic storm while fishing. They gained some of the qualities of the fish they were pulling aboard. Namely: gills, webbed hands, and feet, blue-green skin, and green or blue hair.

They are cousins to the Elf , it is not known if this connection if from before landing on Aquatica or after. Similar to the Wild Elves, they have a close connection to Aquatica's undersea areas. They nurture and heal the wounds from the Chaos Wars.

As Mer, they often take on characteristics from the primary sea life and terrain in the area. Mostly in coloring but often in frills, ridges, and fins. Aquatic Elves have arms and legs, but their feet and hands are often flattened and elongated to more closely resemble fins to aid in swimming. They have large eyes to aid sight underwater.

They can live in any water, whether fresh, brackish or salt. Although they tend to stay away from Teranick, the Maelstrom, Atlantia and Hy-Dracora. Kresteans, Dragons, and Lizardfolk particularly love to eat them.

Aquatic elves are omnivorous, preferring aquatic animals to those from the land. some do crave fruit at times because it won't grow underwater for the lack of sun. For this reason, they tend orchards on remote islands or trade for them.
